Best buy leaks Diablo III release date!

Best Buy apparently accidentally spilled some beans! According to them D3 is set for a February 1 midnite release!

I hope its true since Ive been waiting ten years for this!

Might have to take some vacation days...

    Sigh. It looks like you are so totally right. Blizzard is saying its not true. I am just way too excited for this.

    that was probably one of the old release dates, Blizzard keeps thinking its TOTALLY GOING TO BE READY and then changing its mind at the last moment.

    I would think we can expect it soon though, they're just at the fiddling phase it seems like. This year for sure.
    Then again maybe they will fiddle more.

    I bought the annual WoW pass, which will net me a free copy of D3. I have too many games to play currently, lol. I'm looking forward to it though. I loved D2.

    I am hearing best case scenario is late March :( Skyrim is keeping me busy till D3 comes out though!

    yeah but its January 8th, if they were going to release it they'd want to be taking pre-orders NOW.

    It's Blizzard, I'll never be surprised as they continue to push it back.

    I can't wait to play though. Ready to Monk it up!

    I have it pre-ordered on Amazon.com.

    I will probably be a Barbarian first ( I love hack and slash) but I'm really glad that this time I can be a girl instead of previously being stuck as a man.

    we were at the blizzcon when they announced the ....dark hunter class? whatever it is. and one of the panels we wnet to was the art panel which led to much hilarity on our part because the guy presenting was just terrible at it and he said the words "Dark" "Mysterious" "Ranged" like 500 times in various combinations. Like he'd show a picture and say "this was an early concept that we liked but we felt it didn't give enough of the dark mysterious look that we wanted" and then he'd show another one and be like "this one shows more of that darkness but then the ranged aspect wasn't as strong".

    So we have a little internal 3 person meme now where we'll start talking about how something is dark and mysterious, possibly ranged, and also dark.

    So that's what I'm rolling. I can't not. CAN'T NOT. Plus I like being ranged.

    And dark.

    And mysterious.

    Don't tase me, bro! I don't know, though. It's Blizzard. Until I see an official Blizzard release date, I'm skeptical. Of course, the time they take is what makes the games so good. But February sounds like a reasonable release date.

    I wish I'd gone this year too because the mini tyrael figurine is super cute -- my boyfriend went with one of our wow guildies (our friend won 2 tickets via a twitter contest so he crashed at our place and took my BF) but we bought a house last September and I balked hard at spending 200 dollars on Blizzcon tickets.
