Hey everyone! I noticed things have been really quiet around this group. How is everyone doing?

Not too good Jazz lol. But it could've been worse. I gained over 10 pounds during the month-long "holiday." I did better this year because of working out but still, the proof is on the scale. I should probably log my weight on the chart just to keep accountable even though I don't like to log gains. But the figure staring me in the face might do wonders to motivate me to get my butt back in gear. March is my MFP anniversary and I'd like to be at least 10 pounds within goal.
How did you fair?0 -
I know how you feel. It's been up and down for me too. I seem to gain and lose the same 5 lbs and I'm incredibly frustrated. I had a day a few weeks ago where the scale actually read 188 and I was super excited, but then completely ruined the next few days. I'm hoping to break out of it and find my motivation again. I printed pictures of the dress I will be wearing at my brothers wedding and and taped them to the fridge and cupboards, lol. I'm hoping it will be a reminder whenever I feel the need to snack or want something bad.0

I've totally fallen off the wagon lately. I was steadily dropping but this past month I put back on 3lbs and haven't gotten like any exercise. In mid December I finished grad school and went to stay with my parents for a month. It been really hard to stick to a plan there because my father is a fabulous cook. That along with adjusting to life outside of academia and stressing over finding a job has taken it toll on me. I'm hoping that once I go back home to my apt. and to my gym I can get back into the swing.0

Congrats on finishing grad school Krista! 3lbs isn't bad considering the "good eating" you've been doing with your father cooking. I def hear you on the stress of finding a job after graduation. I'm positive you'll get into the right mindset soon.0 -
I'm so glad to hear I'm not the only one struggling. I also hate logging a gain, but am too hoping that it will motivate me to get off my butt!!! I'm so frustrated because we are not getting our dresses until mid April and the wedding is end of June. If I had the dress here with me it would give me the motivation to work out more or eat better! Good luck everyone! We can do this!!!0
