Has anyone tried or considered trying these? I just bought a pair and have only worn them for relatively short periods of time so far (break in) but so far I REALLY like how my feet feel in them and after I wear them. Just curious if anyone had given them a shot.

Ooh! I'd love to try them. I've always wondered if they would feel right. Are they pretty supportive?0

Very light weight and basically no support. They are supposed to mimic barefoot running. I will say that I learned the other night that they are much more made for running (where you are striking on the front portion of your foot) than for walking (where you generally hit on your heel first). I think I will use them for just the running portion of my workouts and change for the added walking that I do before/after at least until I've gotten a bit more used to them. But my toes do like the separation!!0

Somehow I didn't see this till just now. I tried on the five finger shoe and really didn't like the feel of the material between my toes. I imagined getting blisters from the rubbing in between my toes. I have to say I did buy a new pair of Merrill's with the vibram (barefoot type) sole and amazingly they are the most comfortable shoes for me to wear walking. I was worried but I even tested using my gel sole shoes and they hurt me sooner vs the Vibram soled shoe in the same amount of time on same uphill and downhill walk. If you are comfortable with the separated toes I say go for it. The ease of these naturally shaped soles on my feet makes such a difference.
Good luck.0 -
Ive never tried them, but i am curious. One of the things in my small little mind I expect athletic shoes with all their fancy cushions to do is be easy on the joints but ive been hearing they are quite comfy so im glad somebody with joint issues is here giving a review. My knees have been bothering me lately so im standing down on running for awhile, but I am going to try walking more since although it hurts more in the beginning staying active and walking overall makes my knees actually better.0
