I have the same problem! Only with wine though...if other people are having mixed drinks etc. I can resist. But so hard with wine. I am trying to improve on this myself, but I know when I cut way back before it did get easier after awhile. Early on, I avoided wine related gatherings as much as possible. I am going to do that again....0

Hi - That is a time that calls for mucho strength. I always try to have cold herbal teas and/or interesting non-alcoholic things to drink (chai tea, etc.) in the house when people come over so that anyone who doesn't want to drink alcohol still has some more festive options but - whaddya know! - I haven't really tried doing this myself. I usually try to alternate at those times - one glass of wine (like kmccarv I don't really care about other drinks) and then one glass of tea or whatever. Next time I will go for the non-alcoholic option only in solidarity with you.0

That is a hard one! My husband is in a band and every Sunday night the come over to the house with a ton of wine! All my friends drink too!! I have only gone one day so far with out wine...The diet I am on is completely sugar free, so wine would ruin the whole thing. I guess I just have to focus on how good i will feel after I detox!0

Those rock and rollers! We have lots of drinking pals too - though only some with talents like that - and it's hard to be around them and not drink. The clear feeling is worth it though, I am finding. Feels really good. Good luck.0
