Hi! I'm a mom of 3. My youngest is 3 months so I am looking to loose the extra weight but not cut out too many calories. I'm nursing and getting ready to return to work so I don't want to impact my milk supply. While my weight goal is to lose ~15 pounds the big milestone I'm looking for is to see light shine through ALL parts of my legs when my feet are together.
I've decided to challenge myself to 30 days of exercise. Now, I should clarify. I don't mean 30 days of intense 60+minutes of working out. One, I don't think that's healthy and two I'd fail come day 3. I mean doing something cardio or strength training every day. Some days, it might be only 10 push-ups or 2 minutes of planks other days it could be 30 minutes on the elliptical and 30 minutes of strength training. The purpose is to establish some sort of routine or habit of exercising, get my body dependent on that "happy feeling" that is sure to kick in after the first week or so, and jump start my fitness goals.
I'm hoping to get some motivation from the group and a figurative kick in butt if I start slacking!
