Water tip:
This is how I manage to drink my 8 glasses of water a day.
When I wake up I drink 1 glass of water, not cold, but boiled add lemon and it gets your metabolism on the go. Do this at least 30 minutes before breakfast.
After breakfast wait 30 minutes then drink a glass of cold water. It must be cold, I've read somewhere that "considering that the definition of a calorie is based on raising the temperature of water, it is safe to say that your body burns calories when it has to raise the temperature of ice water to your body temperature. And unless your urine is coming out ice cold, your body must be raising the temperature of the water. So calories are being burned."
Then for the rest of the day drink cold water with a capital 'C' for COLD, 30 minutes before and 30 minutes after each meal.
Do this even before and after each snack.
Drinking water before and after you eat will improve digestion. It helps breakdown the food in your stomach and keep your digestive system on track.

Most of us gain weight before, during of after that time of the month... Good news are you can loose DOUBLE the amount of weight during this time:drinker: :drinker: :drinker: if you do it RIGHT!:drinker:
I've heard that your body burn more calories during this time thats why we crave more food. (Please note this is not a fact, it's something I came across while Google'ling):drinker:
We weight more because of water retention, and therefore keep AWAY from the scale and measuring tape, try to wear something you know are to big, or else you will get depressed.:drinker:
To get rid of water weight, you must drink water, I try to drink twice as much water during this time, and not to eat more, stick with your healthy lifestyle, or diet, whatever word you would like to use, to describe it.:drinker:
Salt is a big no during this time because salt will also cause water retention.:drinker:
Be more active, no excuses, just BE MORE ACTIVE especially this time!:drinker:
And I will promise you, the week after your period you will weigh less then 2 weeks ago! :drinker:0 -
I've been reading a lot about the benefits of drinking Green Tea, both for weight-loss and health reasons. Has anyone noticed a difference in weight-loss from drinking Green Tea? I'm willing to try it, mostly because i've given up drinking sodas and most fruity juices so I need some variety other than just water and soy milk everyday

I read this in an article and I thought it was a good tip to share with everyone:

But if your brain is otherwise engaged, you'll have fewer cognitive resources available to conjure up mental images of brownies. So when a craving hits, try doing long division, sudoku, or counting backward, and see if it goes away."
