Hi Everyone!

Hello all!! I just joined the group today, always excited to have other moms as a support system. I am the busy working mom of a year and half old daughter and married to a great man. I was 150 pre pregnancy and gained enough weight throughout the 9 months to have me reach the 200lb mark. I do blame it on my genes, I did everything in my power to not gain weight, ate healthy, exercised and still gained the weight. So after my delivery, 3 months later I ended up having to have my gallbladder removed, delaying my weight loss even more. So now, as we speak I am down to 170...trying to find time to workout while working and taking care of my household and family.........I look forward to encouraging yourselves and hearing encouragement back!!!

    hey im so glad to be the first one to say hi, well you can feel free to add me if you need motivation im constantly on here and also looking for that extra push, and i know to i have a daughter who is 2 and well it is not easy i had a csection and i am trying my hardest to lose the weight it sucks that it has taken me this long to push but i know now i need too and well at least you are losing pretty well already how did you go from 200 to 170 if you dont mind me asking

    Well Hi there! Thanks for responding! Honestly, I really don't know exactly HOW I got down to that. I have experimented with many workouts over the past year and half. The two I have stuck with fairly consistently are a workout program with Chris Freytag called 10lb slim down, which have a few workouts that last just 20minutes (making it really easy for us moms!) and then my favorite called PILOXING. Its a mix of boxing, pilates and some dance. It's super fun, but it kicks your booty. And my diet. I have cut out ALL soda!! That has made a huge impact, even the diet........
