So this year I won't have a Valentines lol... What do you do on Valentine's Day? Or what did you use to do on Valentine's day when you were in a relationship?

This year I'm going to ask my MFP friends to be my healthy Valentines lol.. Crossing my fingers that they say yes

Lucky for me it is on a Tuesday so I will be at work that night.

I make it fun!!! I write a love letter/card to my sweetie and i try to cook something or just serve something sexy like fresh shrimp, wine, and some chocolate covered strawberries for deSsert! Yummy cant wait! I also wear something sexy!!!

In my last relationship all we did was cards, and maybe cooked dinner. Won't be doing anything in particular now I'm single (no clue what I did last year), just another day!

I'll be at the gym being awesome. and by awesome I mean I'll be crying and my fat will be doing the crying.
I haven't celebrated this in years. I'll probably just go celebrate my friends b-day which happens to fall on the same day.

Even though I don`t have a personal reason to celebrate it there is nothing wrong with letting the day be one to remember friends that are dear even if not a relationship.

I am not a big fan of holidays in general, but on Valentine's day I try to be very busy and have a nice "me" day. Back in my apartment I am always the 7th wheel so I try not to be there hahaha.

My Preds (Nashvilles NHL team) have a game that night so I will be there screaming my heart for the guys I "love" I don't and never have liked vday. I love my friends, family, and partner (if I have one) everyday if the year not just feb 14th. Waste of time and money when I can do it everyday.

I hate Valentine's Day, even when I was with someone. It is like New Years, we build it up and build it up and it is usually a let down. I am going to celebrate it by probably watching Thomas the Tank Engine or Diego and cuddling with the most awesome person I know; my soon to be 3 year old son.

I figure I'll just enjoy by myself. No romantic movies that day!

I like this idea. It's not necessarily a day about being in a relationship. Just a day of love in general......a great day to let anyone you care about know how you feel.

Most likely it will be another day unless I meet someone before then.

In the past I went out to dinner with my boyfriends. No present exchanging but a nice dinner together.

I really want to send myself a huge bouquet of flowers to work and have everyone wonder where the hell they came from! LOL :flowerforyou:

I think I may go to dinner with my single girlfriends and celebrate being single. Orrrrr I might work. Orrrrrr I might put a chick flick on and cry. LOL!! Will just see how I feel that week :bigsmile:
