Welcome back LegalChica!
Sorry guys that I missed last week's weigh-in... not too impressive, only lost .9 pounds. Spent one day completely out and the next few recovering... Still not quite 100%, which is frustrating because while I want to exercise, I need to get better too! Good news is that I'm all set to pickup a treadmill, now I'm just scouring the listings to find the perfect used one. (Since I can't run in the cold weather, it's really important for me).
With just one month left to go on this challenge, I am getting really exicted for everyone. Jersey you sure look hot in your profile pic!!0 -
Not a worry about missing the weigh in Joyful. Sounds like you have a lot of things going on! I hope you get well soon so that you can find that perfect treadmill and hop on it! And thanks for the comment about my pic! It's my dress for my wedding social... it took 5 hours to find and was the ONLY one I liked. I am hoping I can pull it off 2.5 weeks from now!!
I hopped on the scale this morning and was shocked to see a 164.4 lbs!! That would put my PAST my 30 lb lost marker!! (And past my valentine's goal as well!) Yesterday when I was in the shower I actually felt less fat around my tummy... for the first time in ever. It only took 30 lbs! lol. I'm encouraged by this whole process again and feel like I am doing well despite the stress of moving jobs. I'm even looking into a new pet or two!0 -

Because I waited to weigh in last week until Friday, this isn't even a full week's loss! I'm not going to lie... I'm pretty excited about it... This has squeaked me over my challenge goal weight a whole 3 weeks early!! The past two weeks I have lost 1.4 lbs each, but I'm not confident enough in my consistency to bump my challenge goal down to 160 lbs or 161 lbs. Knowing that if I did, and didn't meet said goal, that I would beat myself up, I am going to leave things as is and just see where I can get with this thing. I've lost 30.6 lbs!!
Oh, and I think I may have found the key to this weight loss thing (I've been struggling with insanely slow losses for forever). I think it's water! I've been drinking it consistently for 2 1/2 weeks now and boom! Weight is disappearing! I'm feeling pretty darn great right now, if you can't tell!!
Weekly Success: Water! Staying under calories! Finding healthier food options!
Weekly Struggle: Not counting on the scale so much.
This Week’s Personal Challenge: I didn't take progress pics, but I have a new profile pic that could act as one... This week's challenge is to be a little more active. It's insanely busy as I finish up work and prep for our upcoming wedding social, but I hope to get moving at least 3 days this week. I am hoping to have my Rushfit back from a coworker tomorrow (I'd better... it's my last day) and I plan on starting it up with an MFP buddy!!
KEEP YOUR EYES OUT FOR A NEW TOPIC REGARDING WHERE THIS GROUP SHOULD GO AFTER VALENTINE'S DAY!! YOU INPUT IS REQUESTED AND EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!0 -
Weigh in: 146!
I think I need to be more realistic about my V Day goal, though. I don't think I can keep up this rate, but you never know!
Start: 150
Week 1: 148.4
Week 2: 146
Challenge: Water, dealing with restaurant eating.0 -
CW: 156.8 I'm up from when I left you all... Still struggling to get back on track
GW: 154
I struggled pretty bad over the holidays and came up over. Very minor loss over the last two weeks but I'm hoping to get back. My boss has killed my usually workouts and I now have to do P90x2 with my office at lunch... picking up a HRM this weekend so I can more acuratly track my calories burned.
I'm having some pretty serious personal and professional stressors rightn now which is affecting my eating as well as my sleep... I hope some of it will calm down enough to let me get back to where i need to be... I haven't been logging completly and that i'm sure is part of it as well.
Weekly Success: getting back in here and holding myself accountable
Weekly Struggle: getting my workouts in.
This Week’s Personal Challenge: Just get back on track with my logging.0 -

Well, this weeks weight loss was a total surprise. Especially since the painters were in! I credit my water intake and getting back on track with my eating.
I know I sound like a broken record, but I need to focus on my exercise. As some of you may know, Jersey and I are real life friends and I am lucky enough to be in her wedding party! Dress shopping is February 10th so I want to power through the next few weeks so that I can find a dress that won't need hundreds of dollars in alterations by her wedding day
Weekly Success - water intake and eating regimen.
Weekly Struggle - I still can't motivate myself to exercise
This Week's Personal Challenge - Find my exercise motivation. I can't help but wonder where I'd be right now if I had just exercised more.
Ladies and Gent, we are in the home stretch now. We can do this!!!

Woo, loss of 2lbs!! I just hope I can keep it off. I had my v-day goal of 180, which would be awesome if I made, but I'm not too confident. I would be happy if I got to 185 though, so fingers crossed.0 -

I'm thinking of adjusting my goal too-- that's LIFE! LIfe calls for adjustments, You are doing very, very well. My experience is that my weight has to get used to a new "weight decade" for a while before it will drop again. Let's just all hang in there for the long haul and we will make it!!!!!0 -

Just wanted to say, I have exercised the last two days! Hopefully this is an emerging pattern :happy:0 -
Maintaining 137 this week - which is good considering the previous week I lost a bit more than was reasonable in such a short time.
2 lbs to go for my V-Day goal 135 lbs. I hope I can get there - I'm set to only 0.5 lb/week but you never know how things will go! I still have 7 lbs total remaining until I reach my "goal" of 130.
I also have a dunk test scheduled in 2 weeks - this will give me body fat % which I'm very interested to learn, now that I am *just* within the "healthy" weight range. Really hoping for something 25% or less (last year was 30% at 156 lbs). Hopefully this will give me a better idea of my ultimate goal weight too!
Keep up the good work everyone!0 -

VDay Goal: 182
Was really hard to get focused this week. Didn't gain (and considering how I ate, that is great) but also didn't get much of any exercise in. This week, I'm back to feeling completely healthy and also found my box of "transition" clothes, so will be wearing clothes that are tight again (helps give me a small reminder throughout the day that I need to focus and making those clothes too small again!)
Goals for the week: Work out 60 minutes Mon, Wed, & Thurs and do a quick 10 min core strengthener DVD every morning. This weekend I have a friend from California coming up to visit, so we'll be painting the town red, but I'll stay focused on making good choices regardless. She knows I'm working, so she'll help keep me accountable.0 -

I did adjust my goal, up by 3 pounds so that I could focus on something that I genuinely feel I can attain. We're all heading in the right direction so good job!!0 -
