Glad to see a group for this out there, I have Fibro, etc. and its hard to get the exercise let alone trying to do it when in pain. But I am trying and hope that I can learn from some of you guys, need some good tips. Get lots of pain in right shoulder, especailly after wearing a bra or typing on computer,its a muscle and nothing seems to work, yet top heavy but this just started about 6 mos ago and causes me headaches also, had Fibro for years with arthir, etc all after a major surgery, gained weight, loss it, had surgery , gained it back, now no insurance, no meds, but over the counter and trying to lose, exercise again.

    Hi Crazysquaw, nice to meet you. I was glad to find this too, I am always looking for new ideas also. I walk,or at least try for about 15 minutes, 3 times a day. If I try longer walks, I end up in pain, so a few short walks help. I put on music and dance around for 10-15 minutes. it helps with mood too, makes me feel better.i try not to sit or lay around alot, I find that makes things worse. I have a TENS UNIT, which really helps. If you want to know about it, let me know. Good luck!! Red

    The TENS UNIT is about the size of a cell phone, 4 electrodes you attached to pain area,set it to frequency you need, and it blocks the pain,for the time you are wearing it. I wear it for about 8 hours during the day, and it is great. Once you take it off,you are back to where you were, but I will take 8 hours of less pain anytime.the insurance paid for it,I highly recommend it.
