I have managed to hurt my hand somehow. Anytime I apply pressure is send a sharp pain in my thumb and wrist. I have been advised to stay away from strength training that involves my hand and Yoga for the time being. This is hard for me to do, but I have been this way for about two weeks. I keep telling myself that my body will overcome it. My hand is swollen, but they do not think it is a huge concern, just overworked. It is very hard for me to not do my routine, but I guess it will be better for me in the long run!

Two weeks and still swollen? And still getting sharp pain? What kind of doctor are you seeing? Maybe you need an orthopedist who specializes in hands, if you're not already seeing one ...0

well, the swelling has gone down and the pain is only when I apply pressure to the lower portion of my hand. i have been advised not to do any resistance and not to over stretch it, but that is merely impossible bc I am a mother of a two year old. I think I am just going to brace it for now! Thank you for your advice0
