What gyms have everyone found in Essex? I recently joined Riverside Ice and leisure in Chelmsford and have found them to be really helpful and welcoming.

    I go to Fitness 364 in Chelmsford. My husband goes to the newly refurbished Leisure World gym in Colchester. We're happy with our choices.

    I do parkrun in Essex (not this one though), 5k, 9am every Saturday morning and a coffee afterwards, there is one in Chelmsford and it starts at the Pavilion in the heart of Central Park, there you can meet other people who want to try and get fitter as well, although not exactly a 'gym' it's a great alternative method of keeping active.
