Yah! Recovery week... Yoga on Sunday means I had enough time to make it through the whole 90 minutes. Have a great day everyone.

    Almost forgot it was recovery week! I was all ready to do chest and back...lucky i just happened to check the schedule. I did core synergistics since i was not prepared mentally for the yoga...loved it!

    I'm enjoying the recovery week but it's almost over. Can't wait for week 5 to start!

    W4D2- Core Synergistic... My first time doing it and I was like WTF!! Needless to say, there were some exercises I glared and my TV and told myself there was no way!! I tried, hopefully I get better with time!! Those prison push-up killed me!!

    Did a turbofire workout for some extra cardio today. Core syn tomorrow....I like the workout but would like it more if Dreya wasn't in it! Lol!

  • Just finished first day of week 4. From what I hear core synergistics is an absolute bear so I'm going to wait until after work tomorrow to do it rather than try to cram it in the morning. I'm excited to see a new workout though.

    Core Syn complete. Elliptical when I get home from work. Rest day tomorrow and then on to week 5!

    W4D5- Core Synergistics, for the people doing the lean version and do this every week, oh my..that's just awesome!! I'm very excited to finish this month!! One more day then a rest day..then on to week 5!!!

    Lovin my rest day!!!! Look forward to starting week 5 tomorrow and switching things up a bit. Gotta get better wtih nutrition...ugh!

    So far I now fit into some jeans that just a month ago I had to 1st pour myself into them then nearly break my thumb off to button them. Wore them last night with no prob...slight difference on the scale too. woooo hooooo *still hate the yoga though*

    Just coming to the end of week 4. Have noticed my heart rate is more responsive and drops much quicker than it did leading into the cool downs. Just hoping that's a good thing!!

    W4D4--- instead of resting I did sprints and calisthenics. Looking forward to week 5.

    Week4 done. Not seeing much movement on the scale this month but I feel stronger. I did yoga last night and I really tell the difference between the first 30 minutes the first week and the first 30 minutes yesterday. Onward to week 5.

    I know I'm a few weeks behind most of you, so I'm on day 3 of week 4 (kenpo today). I was amazed by how much stronger I've gotten in just a few weeks - week 1 chest/back I did 15 regular pushups - week 3 I did 25, and yesterday on core syn I did 20 of the staggered hands/stacked foot ones. It's an awesome feeling to get stronger.

    What I'm struggling with is that the scale isn't moving - but I keep reminding myself that I'm losing inches and getting stronger, and that counts way more than that stupid scale.

    So, yoga twice this week...I feel like I hate it less each time I do it. I love the last 40 minutes - hate the first 50!!!!
  • Yoga gets slightly easier each time...slightly. Then you have a hiccup and it gets harder, then you just keep at it anyways. Eventually those right angle poses won't make me want to die.
