So I live with my best friend and her bf in an apartment. And when they go out on date nights and what not leaving me at home by myself I feel a bit lonely, though I do stuff with my friend but there are just sometimes when I wish I had a bf

anyone else have similiar stories

For a year I lived with my best friends (they are married) I moved in with them after a particularly nasty break up. Just living with them made me feel lonely much less when ever they went out or at night since our rooms were next to each other. I now live down stairs from them and am still lonely but it doesn't feel as bad most days.

I have no roommates and I get so busy studying and such so I'm alone ALL the time. I find things to do to keep my mind occupied but it do get to the point where I try to figure out why am I alone... But I suppose that one day I won't be, but who knows :/

I think I was loneliest in my marriage but since the divorce my loneliness issues are more about my perception of self-worth. Sometimes I have to remind myself that I am worthy of positive self-worth. I figure I will have less to be lonely about when I face those issues head on. For now, it is one day at a time, one problem at a time. My biggest problem is my weight.

all of my close friends are in relationships, most are married w/ children. Every time we get together for BBQ's or special occasions I always feel left out, or like the 3rd wheel. It gets old
