Did any of you Runner's World subscribers read the "Born to Run Back" article on Julius Achon in the Jan 2012 edition? It brought me to tears. Sometimes we get so comfortable in our lives we forget that there are those who are far less fortunate.... I love this story, but I'm thinking there HAS to be something more we can do!

Although I am uncertain of what I can personally do, I am reminded of the quote by Edmund Burke, "Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little."

This quote from Achon after giving a barefoot mother $5 to treat her baby with malaria really hit me hard, "I just kept thinking how little it was. How little it takes in this place to help people."
