Excellent article from WebMD which explains how PCOS affects weight gain, testosterone production, and even susceptibility to diabetes. We won't let PCOS be the excuse to remain overweight; on the contrary, having PCOS increases our urgency to lose and maintain a healthy weight. Note the article says that losing 10% of your weight can help your periods go back to normal AND alleviate some of the other unfortunate symptoms of PCOS.
