01/09/12: 165.5
01/18/12: 165.0
01/23/12: 163.5
I did everything 'right' last week -- water, exercise, good food -- and saw a good result. This weight is actually from Sunday -- I was a little higher today due to sodium I think. But I'm drinking plenty of water!0 -
Update for me...I am doing the happy dance this morning...I guess it works! last week I was very discouraged and unhappy because I saw the number show higher on the scale then the week before. I have been following the Olivia Method only since last Wednesday and I lost! I think I am actually eating better and working out! Loving life...now I just need support to keep going and not give up, NO MATTER WHAT!
Here are my totals:
1/18/12: 254.8
1/23/12: 252.9 (-1.9)
As with Shannonaufman, I have water retention as well...so a little higer today but not getting discouraged!0 -
1/16: 141.8
1/23: 140.4
I'm new to trying this method also. I'm 5'6" and working to get to 130 and will evaluate from there. :-)0 -
I'm the same: 154
My own fault though, as my food and exercise of late haven't been at all good or consistent.0 -
Yay, Kristen! I'm so glad you're trying the method. It's been really great for me so far!0

Hi everyone,
I'm coming back to this method. I had been doing this since beginning of December and then a couple weeks ago I went back to traditional MFP way of calculating my calories. That didn't work because I gained a couple lbs since then and was really upset with myself.
Here are my stats:
1/6: 168
1/13: 167.8
1/20: 166.4
1/26: 169
I'm hoping today's weight is just water weight and my official weigh in day is Friday's so I'll check back in tomorrow.0 -
Lost 4.8 lbs this week! (.8 was a vacation gain)...I also reset my macros to 15% carbs, 45% protein and 40% fat. I am a carb monster, so cutting those way down has a direct affect on my loss. I kept my calories and excercise the same though.
Have a great week!0 -
Update on my stats:

1/13: 167.8
1/20: 166.4
1/27: 167.4

When I joined the group, I was not weighing, so i did not record even though I was following the method. The first couple of weeks in january, I struggled with eating enough calories. But have been good in the past 3 days, and have gone down 2.6 pounds.
I'm currently at 146, so let's see what happens from here on out.0 -

:flowerforyou: Hi, I am kinda confused with this method...{and so is my Mechanical Engineer hubby}...maybe we are s.l.o.w. or whatever...but, I have lost 1 lb this past week. I want to lose 10~15 lbs. total by April9 . {Easter~egg Challenge} I am 5'2", 131lbs. My BMR is 1,186 and I only do 30 minutes of cardio 5~6x per week {ie. Jillian Michael's DVD, The 100 Workout, Low~Impact Aerobics, Fast~walking/with sprinting} and do strength~training with 10 lbs. 3x/week. HELP!!?? I would appreciate all the help, support and advice I can get to bring this goal to reality.
May all of you be blessed with all of your heart's desires!:flowerforyou:0 -
