For those who have started playing SWTOR and stopped playing WoW, I have written a poem in your honor.

Since You've been gone

The lich king is back
and run a muck
deathwing is still here
he's such a shmuck

Stormwind is empty
and Orgrimmar too
The instances are empty
You can't get a que!

The elder's are crying
Lunar fest is dead
Everytime I log on
I am filled with dread

Oh dear Azeroth
of you who will defend
for on my real id
I haven't a single friend.

    I don't really think there was such a mass exodus as it suggests though. At least not on my server.

    My BF seems to have no issues getting raid finder queues, they are quite quick!

    Yeah it's depressing on my server! My husband plays SWTOR all the time and I barely log in WoW save for guild raids. Which is twice a week and even that is a drag. Probably just moving on from MMOs because I have no desire to play SWTOR.

    I played WoW for a few weeks many years ago. Didn't get into it. I played FFXI for 7+ yrs. Had a blast but eventually needed to get my health and life in order so I quit in Fall of 2009. Now I been dabbling with SWTOR. It's fun but probably will quit after my 3 months is up. I guess I just grew outta MMO's. Plus a bit afraid of going down that dark abyss of playing too much and not being active. I average 2-4 hrs. a week. I will say if they ever release a Firefly/Serenity MMORPG I'll be all over that.

    I've been an MMO player for about 14 years now, but oddly enough WoW never hit my radar. I played UO, Evercrack, DAoC, SWG, and others. Played LOTRO for about 4 years, but like lacroyx, started backing off the MMO's in order to be more "analog" and get away from the computer. Played Rift when it first came out last year. I did start playing SWTOR, it's fun and I've started a bunch of alts. But not sure I'll play it long term either.

    I'll probably play the shizzle out of Mass Effect 3 tho... :bigsmile:

    OMG!!! Firefly MMO would be so freaking awsome!!! I never even thought of it... but really, this needs to happen!

    Thank GOD I'm through with WoW. For six years I played, and for a time -- it was good. The last year has sapped my interest from it completely.

    Playing SWTOR now, and loving it. Visually, mechanically, playwise -- the game is pure sex. My first open beta was in Sep/Oct 2011, and my mind was made up....I made the switch. After six years of my WoW-main being a healadin, I refuse to roll a healer.

    Server -- The Kaiburr Crystal

    Moxxy -- Dark side Bounty Hunter (Arsenal DPS)
    Edmund -- Dark side Imperial Sniper (DPS)
    Fenrys -- Dark side Sith Marauder (DPS)

    He's everything - healer queues are basically instantaneous, DPS queues seem to run in the 10-20minute range.

    What server are you on? I have the annual pass and I'm waiting on the expansion. I just primarily play TOR currently, but I still like WoW. :) Awesome poem by the by.
