I'm currently in a band called Mama's Porch. We play a mix of folk rock, country, americana, and country rock, pop, some blues, etc. We just started playing together about 6 months ago and are still solidifying our sound, so we don't currently have anything recorded. We play all original tunes, written by the other lead singer/guitar player, and me. Before forming this band I played solo, mostly acoustic stuff, also all original. You can hear me at:

My most recent band was called More Cowbell. We were a cover band playing in and around St. Louis for the past 5 years. Here's a couple videos. The first is from our last concert at The Pageant in St. Louis. This was our 5th Annual Annie's Hope Benefit we played with Joe Dirt. In this video we are playing Hysteria by Muse (the video was shot by a friend of our other guitarist. I am on the far right of the stage and so you only see me when the videographer pans right) The second is from our appearance on a local TV show called Show Me St. Louis. In this video, the announcer gets our band name wrong (she says "Cowbell") but the host of the show gets it right. We play into and out of commercials and play Queen's "Tie Your Mother Down" at the end of the show. Skip to 1:36 in the video to see the Queen song. I'm playing a sunburst American Deluxe Telecaster in the Show Me St. Louis video, the same guitar I'm using in my profile picture (I've since sold it). I'm playing an American made Reverend Rocco in the Pageant clip (that guitar is very rare - I have 4 Reverend guitars in all, 6 guitars altogether).

I also fall under the "use to have a band" genre...lol! Our band was called Blood Depot...mostly original...couple of covers...high energy hard rock with a metal edge. I wrote all the music for our songs and our singer and I wrote lyrics together. I also write for and play my Ovation a lot, which I love. I play a lot in drop D, as well as open G tuning...love being creative with all that.. Peace out!0

What about 'wanna be in a band'?
I have always wanted to do this. Lead or backing vocals - either way.
Did backing vocals for my sister's band at a gig once... (100 Ways - in Oklahoma) Unfortunately they are no longer together. This past year I sang lead for a group here at work for a charity event. Just one show - just three songs - not near enough!
I can get up and put on a show but I am not to proud to sing back up if there is someone that has a better voice.0 -
Hey folks. I play guitar and sing backup. I've been playing professionally for quite a few years. I am currently playing for Nashville recording artist, Laura Dodd. I have been trying to lose weight for a long time, trying all kinds of diets. Last year I started a weight loss program that has finally worked for me. I have lost over 70 lbs since last March and hope to continue that trend.0

I've been a bassist for about 11 years, no "stage name" but everyone always called me Papi. Played for a bunch of bands, mostly metal. Now a days I mostly just work on my techniques and write.0

Bassist. Have been in original Christian bands and a classic rock bar band. Currently working on writing and recording my own stuff with loops and live bass and keys. If only I could sing well I would never need another fickle musician again! :-) Hope to release my stuff sometime in the fall. I also have two offers to join bands. Thinking about it... hmmmm0

play in a group as a 3 peice. Type Davy Cherry in to you tube.
folky type of stuff with a lot of Irish influences0 -

What a cool group! I was in my family band for many years. My parents were
professional musicians and I sang and played in their band for over 20 yrs.
Since my father passed away I have played with several bands. I mainly
play mandolin but don't play much country. I am singing Contemporary
Christian lately, in fact going to sing this
weekend! I've had some wonderful opportunities.0 -

My ex-band's name was M'lagro. Alternative rock.
These days I'm writing and jamming with the bass player of that band--along with an elec violinist and elec cellist~~0 -
I've done some small-time stuff on my own - I donated an original song to a local charity, and I've sang for free at a couple minor public gatherings. I'd like to join a band as a lead or backup singer, but I don't have too many connections.0
