Next weigh in - Monday Feb. 6th

Options
Hey ladies, hope you all had a great Monday. For everyone who posted in the first weigh in I've created the chart below. I plugged my number for next weigh in so you can see how it'll work. MFP auto crops pictures so this one had to be reduced to fit everything in-I may change it a little as we go.

To be included in the next chart just post here on Monday the 6th. :)

I'm going to weigh again tomorrow, something strange happened when I weighed myself this morning - from 144 (last Thursday's weight) I weighed in at 140.5...I don't know if that's correct (even though I reset the scale 3 times and it kept coming back to the same #).

I'll give an official update tomorrow as I'm a bit skeptical about the number I got this morning.

I apologise in advance for this post...

    WW1-1.jpg

On the chart, you have "% of goal lost this week". Your formula is using ( [Lost this week] / [Goal weight] ) * 100. However, shouldn't this be ( [Lost this week] / ( ORIGINAL_AMOUNT_TO_LOSE e.g. [Total lost] +
) ) * 100? This makes more sense to me as this would then be "% of target lost".

    Example:
2 people both want to lose 20lbs. Person A is 180lb with a goal of 160lb, Person B is 140lb with a goal of 120lb. They both lose 1lb in one week. Although Person A's goal weight is higher than Person B, they have both moved towards their own goals at the same pace.

    Using your current formula:
    - Person A: 0.625% of goal weight
    - Person B: 0.833% of goal weight

    Using suggested amendment:
    - Person A: 5% of target
    - Person B: 5% of target

Again I apologise... I reckon it's the programmer in me... it won't let me leave things like this alone!!

PS: Thank you so much for doing this by the way! :flowerforyou:
