Congrats Miss V for 20 days smoke free! That is awesome. The 2lbs is nothing! You will take that off in no time!
I have decided to go ahead and sign up for a 6 week, 3x a week, for 1 hour "fitness fusion" aka bootcamp or at least that is what I am guessing. It is with two trainers and one of them is the girl I already use. I am hoping it will get my body back in gear and kick start it back into losing fat!0 -
V that is so fantastic. You are pretty much a non-smoker now! I have not seen a customer go 20+ days without a cig. I say this because I work at a gas station so many of the same people come in multiple times a day and buy cigarettes and such from me. It is SO good to read that you are doing it!!!

i'm sorry to hear that. I hope this round is the final and you are feeling 100% very soon! my boyfriend has had his 3rd round of antibiotics a week ago, and he is finally done (so we hope). he had some sort of head cold then an infection on his arm, totally random but all these antibiotics at once can't be good
I am really hoping I can get some focus going here. Eat better. Move more. Remember my vitamins!0 -

I wanted to share my latest test which was spending the weekend with friends that smoke. I'm happy to say that I DID NOT SMOKE!!! Ladies thanks for all of your support and I promise no more freakouts over weight gain.

V congrats on the continued journey of NOT smoking! That is awesome! Not smoking around your friends that do is HUGE! Keep up the good work! Just realize that with the not smoking your body is going through more changes so a few pounds may come on but you will take them right back off once its starts to get adjusted!
I had my first Fitness Fusion class today. It really was the assessment class. There was only one other lady with me. Apparently the other two were sick and had taken it the last session. It wasn't hard to get up at 5am today but ask me again on Wednesday and Friday, LO! I am hoping thing session is going to kick my body back in gear so I can shed this 20lbs that has been weighing me down for the last year. And the plus side is my work out for the day is done! Woot!

hey everyone! just checking in - i can't believe february is almost done with. time flies! i'm still holding at 192-ish. i might go up or down a few ounces, but nothing major either way. i'm just going to keep on keeping on - it will happen.

sarah, what vitamins do you take? i take a multi each day, but that's as far as my vitamin intake goes. anything we should be taking that you know of?

V - you are my hero too! I am so proud of you - I know how hard it is to quit and you are doing awesome! and you've hardly gained at all - you have still lost over 90 pounds total and soon you'll be able to say you are also a non-smoker.

but my circulation is STILL very susceptible to being low - I had about a week i didn't take it and the last few days I have been suffering from super cold fingers and toes blue finger nails so I think I need to add something, but I don't know what. Ideally I just need to see a doctor I guess. I seemed to be ok as long as I was taking it religiously. I upped my red meat intake too.
Otherwise that vitamin seems really good and I've heard Omega 3 oil is something no one eats enough of so its the other one that everyone says is a MUST take. Its already hard for me to just do 1 vitamin though.0 -

Thanks vendy, and I am just starting to realize some of the changes. I had no idea that this would throw my body for such a loop; however, I don't want to go through these changes again so it's helping me stay motivated.0 -

I'm up just before 5 every morning and start work at 10 til 6. It is what I am used to, but it does suck to go to bed so early.
I take "Alive - women's multi" because it has iron in it, and the other multis we have around the house are for SOME REASON lacking iron! weird.
I also take 2 softgels of fish oil for my omega 3s like tameko mentioned. supposedly we are to equal our consumption of omega 3 and omega 6, but in america with all the corn derived foods, we get omega 6 SO MUCH that our balance is way out of wack. so taking omega 3 supplements, or eating fatty fish (salmon, etc.) can help us raise our omega 3 levels and hopefully get them equal.0 -

I remember the days of 4am! When I was working in Theatre and doing Educational tours I would be up that early. Schools start early!
My multi-vitamin has Iron. (One-a-day generic Walgreens version I think).
So far two days down and 5am and I are friends. Don't get me wrong I like sleep. I try to sleep in on the weekends but my husband wakes me up at times. I have to tell him the night before, DONT Wake me until I get up or you will die. My whole body is sore from yesterdays workout though. Man my abs feel like they were tearing yesterday while working out. Okay maybe tearing is the wrong word but they were sore from Monday and then attacking them again yesterday just made me even more aware of them!0 -
