I love IPR - am addicted to listening to it both at home and at work.

Want to know if anyone else has been listening to the "Being Gay In Iowa" topic this week, and want to know your opinion on what you have been hearing?

    I know this was from a few months ago, but I'll put in my two cents.

    I was pretty disappointed. None of the other "Being ____ in Iowa" stories have included so much negativity and controversy. Not even Being Latino in Iowa. No one questioned whether someone should <i>be</i> Latino in Iowa, but there was a lot of that in the Being Gay in Iowa stories.

    The same with this week's Being Homeschooled in Iowa. Mostly positive thoughts on homeschooling whether for religious reasons or not.

    So yeah, I was disappointed.
