Is there anyone on here planning to take part in the Swimathon this year?
I'm going for the 5km again this year - this will be my fourth time :happy: . My hubby and my boys always come to watch me, it's a pretty boring couple of hours for them watching me swim endless lengths of the swimming pool, but this year they've got the Big Splash miles going on at the same time, so I'm thinking of entering them into the team mile as well :laugh:
I love to swim but I'm more of an open water swimmer. It's great to have something at the start of the year to force me back in to the pool while it's too cold to swim outside!

What a great idea, thanks for posting the link. I think I may have left it a bit late to train for this year but may well make a start and aim for next year. I used to do swimathons decades ago when I lived abroad, never quite got used to swimming indoors or in the cold outdoors. Good luck!0
