I am following the 1200 calorie on MFP and everyday I go over my sugar by the time I eat my second piece of fruit for the day . I dont eat bread or drink anything with sugar, it is the fruit and then come dinner time and I have milk I am over even more. Anyone else have this problem or any advice?

Are you over on carbs or on sugar specifically? The MFP standard carb allotment is based on percentages of your total calorie allotment and that can be changed by adding exercise, or by adjusting the percentage in "Customize your goals". Some fruits are higher in sugar like bananas, oranges, pineapple ect. I try to limit myself to 1 fruit a day and fill the rest of my carbs with vegetables. I also exercise to give myself a little wiggle room by raising that calorie allotment. Regular milk is super high in sugar, other options aren't so bad like almond milk (but it's NOT good for just drinking straight). Is the milk for calcium? If so, there are tons of health benefits to yogurt that are lower in carbs. Fage is my fav becaus it's so high in protein, it's creamy and you can get it plain to add fruit and stevia to for a treat without pushing you over on sugar.
Hope that helps.

The problem is sugar specifically. I was trying to follow the "pyramid" with eating of fruits and veggies and such. I drink the milk because I LOVE IT! I could probably drink a gallon in 2 days alone. I drink skim and have only 2 cups a day, guess I may have to go down to 1. Thanks for the suggestions, will have to keep playing around to stay all in black.0
