We got new orders!!!!! Alaska anyone?!

So my fiance and I got our orders early and found out we are going to KODIAK, ALASKA!!!! We are ssssssoooooo excited but now are faced with the daunting task of planning our wedding and then packing up the house and traveling "overseas" right after our nuptuals!!!! Holy cow!!!!

Anyone currently live in Alaska or have lived there and can give any advice?

    Congratulations! We have never lived in Alaska, but did have to plan our wedding under a tight time period. He came back from Iraq on July 1st, I graduated college July 24, we got married July 25 and we moved for the first time on August 2. Luckily, I did most of the planning while we was gone, but it was still stressful! You can do it though :) and you have a great adventure ahead!

    never lived there but had a friend who went there for a while she seemed to enjoy it. And I have a couple friends who were from Alaska originally. Packing up after marrying is def hard we had to do it it was very last min but it was not over seas lol Good luck!!!
