Mouth Guards

I just joined a gym and had to buy a mouth guard. I know i have to get used to it, but I can't imagine getting used to this without gagging, anyone have any advice, or prefer certain mouth guards? I'm just trying to wear it randomly to get used to it.

    i got mine from my dentist and it is really comfy and easy to wear

    sorry for the late reply - I got my two made from a mate who is a dental technician. The custom fit makes it easier, but a few tips:

    - wet it before putting it in.
    - try training in it first (padwork, jogging) as that will help you get used to breathing with it in.

    Its important to get a good fit, particularly if your considering it for full contact as a cheap mouth guard if not fitted properly can lead to broken jaws let alone teeth!
