Mass Effect: Deception

Apparently BioWare will be releasing a new copy of the book that has corrected the errors. I'm not sure why BioWare agreed to have Dietz write the book considering his last Halo attempt, but I'm glad they are addressing the issue. I'm just not glad to buy it again when it releases :noway:

    I specifically waited for reviews, because of the author change. Glad I did. I don't know who this new dude is, but I already don't like him. The peeps over on the mass effect wiki spear-headed bioware to correct the wrongs. Looks like they succeeded. I'll wait and buy the updated book. http://masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Mass_Effect_Wiki

    Drew, please come back and write more mass effect novels.

    I sadly preordered it. I got three chapters in before I gave it away. My buddy thought i was trolling him with a fake copy. Sad when someone doesn't take their job seriously. All the info is on mass effect wiki, just sit down read your back story and do your job. I hope BioWare sues him for fraud.

    I have a copy waiting for me on my Kindle. I'm scared to read it. I've been burned by game-related books before (Knaak, anyone?) and it's not fun. :P

    The first three books were good, but they were all written by the same author. Drew Karpyshyn, who was also involved in writing for the first video game so i'm sure that helped. He knows what he's talking about. So if you like the game, you will not be disappointed in the first 3 books.

    As to this fourth book, i'm going to wait for the 2nd release for that will have all of the canon errors corrected.
