What do single people do? I get my kids things , stuffed animals, Reese's Peanut butter cups shape like hearts etc.

We have a Gertrude Hawk Chocolate store in the nearby mall. I like to get my teenaged daughter a nice treat from there and an itunes card, along with a very sappy "for my daughter" card from the Hallmark store. The sappier the better! I love the classic eye roll she gives me! But she keeps the cards, and she knows for sure, 100%, that she is LOVED. :flowerforyou:0

I don't have children of my own or special someone, so I spoil my nephew and 3 nieces rotten!! Little "treat" bags with non candy treats inside

My single peep friends used to get together and have an "anti-valentines day" dinner. We'd all get together and go to a nice restaurant and be each other's dates for V-day. That was fun - and it was a pretty even mix of girls/guys. Of course, after a few bottles of wine we'd get a little loud which kind of annoyed all the 'couples' in the restaraunt celebrating v-day, but whatever!

I have no idea. This is my 1st V-day being single. I will either go out with friends or hit up a group of singles (off of meetup.com) that is going bar hopping for the evening.0 -
This is my first v-day single in 7 years so I'm just gonna enjoy the day with my daughter. I"ll probably go buy myself a charm for my Pandora bracelet0

Nothing. To me it's just............Tuesday.
I'm actually seeing someone now so I'm guessing it might be a little awkward as it's only been a few weeks and I'm not ready to make it some big romantic night. I also don't buy into the $80 roses and $200 dinners so staying in is fine with me.

I will probably just come home work out and have a protein shake and call it a day. pathetic but that is my so called life lol0

I'll be in Texas on a business trip. I figure the gyms will be a lot less crowded on the 14th and 15th. And the restaurants more so. So, I'll probably stop at GNC and make sure I have some protein bars to eat for dinner.0

I usually take advantage of the deals,especially on hotels, booze, and chocolate....but since it won't fit into my 'lifestyle changes/weight loss goals', I'm going to settle for celebrating it 5 days later swooning over Hugh Laurie singing from my front row seat!!!
My goal was 20 lbs by the concert, and I really believe I can do it as I'm over 17 now!!

We don't celebrate almost anything at all, if there is a sale we will take advantage of it. Other than that, we just enjoy being together, laughing, joking and loving each other you know making excellent everyday memories :smooched:0

I am going out to dinner with friends who are either single or their husbands are out of town. I really could care less about Valentine's day. It is just a way for Hallmark and the flower stores to make money, LOL. I am not into flowers or jewelry, candy wouldn't be good for someone on a diet.
It doesn't bother me being single on Valentine's day. 0 -
Will probably go out for dinner with my family and swap Valentine's cards. It's a good excuse to get together. 0
