I run college cross country and track. This year over Christmas break, I was diagnosed with a stress fracture in my fourth metatarsal. I ate my feelings for a few weeks after finding out the news that I could not run for up to 8 weeks, and even then I would not be able to start back at my high mileage until April. And so, there went my whole track season. Today, i was FINALLY released to start running. 1 to 2 miles a day for 2 weeks (I previously ran 6 to 14 miles a day... Big drop). My challenge is to stay positive through my recovery and to not give up. Also, I want to stay patient so I don't get reinjured! I'll be trying my best and best of luck to all the other challenges!

  • With me having a God-daughter that ran (cross country, 800 for indoor/outdoor) on a scholarship in college and having to stop from physical issues, I know how important that is to you and for you. I pray that you certainly remain positive and healthy!!
