I find it really difficult to get below parallel. I am sure some of it's my weight and some of it flexibility. Does anyone know anything I can do to improve my squat range of motion.

Your stance might be a little bit too close. And what really helps me is opening up your knees, when you open up your knees you allow your hips to open up and your butt can get lower, it will feel weird at first, and it will make you sore but it is necessary. TRY IT0
