What would you use to get an accurate calorie count when doing turbo fire? Would you use turbo jam /kickboxing or would you use aerobics high impact? When doing turbo fire with a friend she let me use her body bug to see how much calories I burn when doing turbo fire and what I found out that i actually burned less calories that i thought, when I used kickboxing it give me more calories Thai burned but when i use the high impact aerobic it closer to what I calories burned. What do you think?

I believe that I read somewhere that it averages out to a calorie burn of 10 cals per minute. Has anyone read that too or am I just losing my mind??! ;) I would say to use the one that is closest to what the HRM says.

I also heard about 10 calories a minute, so I use that. I really need a HRM though :)

I use a heart rate monitor and it does work out to roughly just under 10 cal/minute most days

I don't have TurboFire yet, but these are my average results with TurboJam/Cardio Party.

With my HRM, I would average about 5.3 cals/minute.
My fitness level increased (calculated by my HRM) so now I burn about 7.5 cals/minute.
The TurboKick class at the gym gives me about 9 cals/minute.
