Chuze Fitness!

No seriously, I know you've heard the commercials! I enrolled awhile ago because I live in El Cajon, but work in Rancho Bernardo so I could work out to avoid the traffic after work. It's CHEAP, it's CLEAN, and the staff is so friendly, at least at this location. Anyone else a member of Chuze? I could not resist the $10 a month fee....

I joined Chuze back in August and have been going regularly since. I've been really happy with it too except I wish the classrooms were a little larger, especially for zumba
@Tuffjourney--Ditto on the hydromassage!! :bigsmile:0 -
Agreed on the class size! It's so popular now, getting in is nearly impossible. However I've been taking killer kore in Rancho Bernardo. It's AWESOME. I wish all the locations had a step class also...0

I never heard of this place but will have to look into it. Sounds like a great deal.0

I was a member at the Santee location, but recently gave it up because I wasn't down there enough [I live in Alpine] anymore and couldn't justify driving just down to Santee for the gym. I was going to do it after school Monday and Wednesdays [I'm at Grossmont HOC] but holy....5pm rolls around and you can't find a parking spot to save your life!
I liked Chuze a lot.0 -
hmmmm I think I'll go check out the Mission Valley location...0

ive been going there for a year and a couple months now its a great place to get your workout on! mine is in escondido the only thing that might not be ok is if it is packed it steamy.the other thing is if your triing to use heavy weights i dont think the dumbells go over 50lb's other than that great machines ,good classes if you like that,cheap and they keep it real clean!0

I go to the santee gym... it's def worth the price - especially since I use it for the classes, tanning and cardio0

I just saw a commercial for this on TV the other day, I'm living out in El Cajon too, but spend most my day in Chula Vista. I was thinking about going here, how much is it? Any way, feel free to add me all you San Diegans out there.0

I understand that CHUZE is going to raise their prices in the next couple of months. Currently they have three levels of membership. Level 1 - Basic - is $10 a month no contract and a $39 initiation, or something to that effect. Level 2 gets you tanning and hydromassage access for $10 a month more, and Level 3 gets you more goodies. Level 1 includes all classes so I could take Killer Kore, Zumba, Yoga, Kettle Kamp to my heart's content at no additional fee.
This will soon change. Classes will be included at the Level 2 membership, and not available without cost to the Level 1 people. IT is still no contract, but to enjoy the opportunities I enjoy now, I'll have to upgrade to $20 per month.0 -
I spoke to my CHUZE manager last night and he confirmed rates will go up, but they will honor earlier membership plans so existing Level 1 members will not have to pay more for the classes.0

I go to the mission valley branch. can't say enough good things about this place. seriously the best deal out there. I have the top membership and its only 24.99 a month. I get to use the tanning beds and hydromassage bed every time I go and bring a friend every time as well.0

I was at the Grossmont mall yesterday and saw that CHUZE has taken over the building where B2BE fitness was (Across from Sports Authority) I don't think the sign said when they were opening but YAY!!!0

nybor, when I was at the Santee Chuze I asked about the Grossmont location and they told me it will open around the end of September....yay!! I'm happy about that too since I'm closer to that location. :bigsmile:0

I go to the location in Escondido, I looooove it. It's always so clean and the machines are so new. Staff is super nice too and the hydromassage is so nice after a long workout!0
