Hi all,
I'm new to MFP (day 2) and wondered if anyone added what they were going to eat, for their evening meal for example, so you know how many calories you have left for snacks/treats etc??
Last night I entered what I would have for my meals during the today so I wouldn't get left short in the evening which is
my dander time!!
Any tips??

Hiya!
I tend to always fill in mine the day before where possible, and when I've got suitable food in the house to plan ahead. That way I can see if I have any leeway for extra bits and bobs that might crop up during the day. (eg the chocolate brazils that are currently in my office tempting me grrr)
I like to try and leave a few for in the evening as I tend to get quite peckish late at night.
I don't put exercise in my diary in advance, just in case I don't get round to doing it *cough cough*
PS you might get more of a response if you post this in one of the main forums x0 -
Thank you :0)
I was hoping others did it & it worked. I'd hate to get to the evening & not have any calories left, I'd be very grumpy - my poor hubby!!
Thanks for tip too, I've posted on one of the message boards (not sure if the right one!!)
Thx again xx0 -
Yes I definitely plan meals ahead and fill in my diary first thing in the morning, see what leeway I have for snacks to take to work.
It's easier for me as I live alone so only have to think of myself. I tend to plan my meals at weekends, I like to cook at least one thing new, and freeze portions for quick teas in the week. I try to make soup on a Sunday for my lunches at work.
PS. I prefer the UK groups as a general rule, it's just easier to get advice on food etc as they differ so much in the US from us0 -
If I've got any yummy snacks planned then I try to plan the day to make space for them.
PS. that's a funny cute little monster in your photo (I've got 2 like that as well).0
