Feeling Discouraged.

I'm feeling a bit discouraged today, I have yet to get in "regular" workouts. I am exercising I did a "bootcamp" class @ the gym on Sunday and was going to go to a water aerobics class last night but was too sore. I am doing better on what I'm eating but the changes I'm making aren't having much of an effect. I'm also fighting a hormonal (menopause) curse of not being able to sleep so I'm always tired. Anyone out there have some advice? In the past I would start feeling this way and quit, I'm not quitting this time!!

Have you done a lot of excercises before you did the bootcamp? I only started going to the gym this past Saturday, and I made the decision to go daily as I want to boost my weight loss. (I am horribly unfit and obese). My husband (who is quite fit) told me it is not a good idea to overdo it in the beginning, and I must admit after going flatout (in my view lol) 4 days straight in a row, I can understand why he said that. His advise is to build the excercises over a period of time with the ultimate goal to excercise daily, otherwise you only set yourself up for failure. It must be fun and not torture, and when we feel like we have been under a 150 carriage train, it is no longer fun.

I started going to the gym about 3 weeks ago and yes I agree the class was too much for me... I must be in denial about how out of shape I am...lol I'm feeling much better today, I think my main issue yesterday was unexpected PMS. I started drinking apple cider vinegar mixed with water yesterday (after my post) and it really helped my energy level and I was able to sleep all night last night so I have a much better out look today. Thank you for the encouragement, it does help!!
