Hey everyone-
I know some of us are struggling right now and I have found in times like that it is best to set some goals. Actually goals help me if I am doing good as well because they keep me moving in the right direction towards recovery. So I thought we could share our goals and give ourselves a reason why we need to/ want to achieve them. For me, I will increase my intake if my weight stops going up (as my nutritionist wants me to anyhow regardless). I will do this because, although I don't want to gain weight right now and feel fine physically, my doctor's and family think my weight is too low. The mirror lies to me, so I will trust in the words of my family and doctor and believe that I am too thin. Plus if I feel this energized on this intake adding more energy (calories) can only make me feel more energized :p If my cals need to go up I will post a status letting you all know :)
So what's your goal.

Awesome goals. We are strong women and I know we can do this! Let's help keep each other accountable and sticking to that road to recovery :p

    Hey guys-
So my nutritionist is making me go up to a minimum of 2000 cals. That's a big deal for me because I am still so wrapped up in the low calorie intake I was taught as a kid was acceptable for any woman and its hard for me to believe my body needs that much. She said I will most likely need another increase next week but she knows how hard of a hurdle this increase will be for me so she is letting me take it slow. So please keep me accountable to a 2000 cal minimum. We shall see if I even get myself higher out of pure determination lol.

You can do it Jess! 2000 is not that many, it is a perfectly reasonable number for anyone, let alone someone recovering from anorexia who needs a lot of nutrition to repair damage :)

Jess if I was able to do 3600 cals you can do 2000. That really isnt that much..it is to us but to people without eating disorders that is a normal day. I started watching people around me at work and they eat well over that and they are by no means fat..and it isnt healthy food and they dont work out either! My goal is to eat dinner at my friends house tonight(I backed out yesterday by sleeping all day) and eating 1500. If I say I am going to do it than I feel accountable to really try. Thanks for the inspiration!
