Vegan curious

Hi All. I'm new to MFP. I've tried to take a run at being Vegan about 3 times in the last decade. Making more progress this time. Still eating some fish and I have a hard time giving up Quest bars (milk) for their convenience and a low calorie to protein ratio - plus no weird sugars (or less than most). Any suggestions on the protein bars would be helpful. I'm in a Vegan Meetup locally and they are being patient with me while I sort this out but I feel better being nearly all plant based already. Thanks!

    Good for you!

    I don't know much about Quest bars, but if you're okay with putting in a little effort you could easily make yourself a batch of vegan protein/energy bars on Sunday and freeze them for the week. Then it's just grab and go!

    Try Oh She Glows (google it) for her glo bar recipe.

    If you want to friend me you can look at my dairy and see what I eat, but I'm not an athlete or anything. I've been trying to stick to clean foods lately and less processed stuff. It's very difficult.
