I'm being so annoying and posting this everywhere :blushing: but I'm constantly bored at work and am trying to get people to join this group I found.
It's Shoryuken and it's for "the fighting game community"
I was originally the first member besides the creator and I just want some more activity in there!....because there pretty much is none

So if anyone wants to talk fighting games or knows someone who does, join up!

Can you tell that I spend my whole day at work procrastinating?

i LOVE fighting games and am peeing a little at the release of Soul Caliber 5. Literally. Cannot. Wait.

What's your fave game? I love Soul Caliber for showy moves but can't beat Mortal Kombat for pure button mashing joy!

Soul Calibur has been my favorite fighting game since I first played it on Dreamcast. And yes, I purchased and played all of the sequels. I haven't picked up 5 yet, but I thought it was released on Jan 31st. I am really ticked that Kilik is not a playable character in 5, as he was always my personal favorite.

I also agree that Mortal Kombat is button mashing bliss.

My favorite fighting game is SF3: Third Strike. It's got a great fighting mechanic and the parry system makes for fantastic mix ups etc.

Soul Caliber is a blast. @hesgro2 Kilik is my favorite SC character too. In 5, Xiba is a decent replacement though. It's a fun game. The character creation is a mini game in itself now lol
There is plenty to complain about, but overall the game really is a blast and you guys should pick it up at some point.

The newest MK is so great. I've been working on the Tower with my friends for a while. It's a blast! It's so satisfying to get off those combos :devil:

unsure if the UK release date for Soul Caliber isn't for another few weeks yet - think it's an easter release date :C

anyway, i'm getting my hot little mitts on a copy ASAP!
