Has anyone bought the weighted gloves? I am thinking about buying them and trying to add them in as much as I can working my way up to being able to use them for a entire workout.

I have them but have not used them yet :) They are not heavy, but I can see how they might get heavy :)
  • I used them for the first time this morning - made it about halfway through and then had to take them off, it definitely makes it harder! My coach (seesaey) said she uses them until she feels her form starts to suffer, then takes them off so as not to injure herself (great advice, thanks Kelsey)!

I was just coming on to ask if anyone uses gloves! I did Fire 30 this morning with the gloves... my shoulders are still sore! It was the first time that I made it all the way thru with the gloves on (except the warm-up/cool-down). Its crazy how 2 pounds can get so heavy!

Exactly! Form is everything so you don't get injured!

I have a set of two pound handweights...do you think I could just do that?

You can try! Personally I will probably let go of the weights on accident and they will go flying.. lol.. but you can certainly try holding them!

On Beachbody the gloves are $19.99 but I got a pair just like them at Walmart for $9.99!

I use them also but only for the 30, 45 turbo fire. And I brought the same ones at Walmart and they are a 1/2lb more than the ones for turbo jam.

I LOVE mine :) I don't usually use them for the HIITs but for FIRE & CXE as they double as protection for my hands. Mine have zippers and you can add/remove 4 little bags each 1/2 lb for total of 2lb each glove. Super nice to be able to add/remove as you build up :) I hate doing punches without them as I feel like I am just flailing about. I am sure 2lb hand weights or even ankle weights work as well just not as comfortable.
  • I bought the gloves from Walmart that are 1.5 pounds each. Does anyone else find it difficult to do a good speedbag when wearing them?
