Strategy 4: Hyponoses

This week is about hypnoses. This one technique where there is scientific evidence for its efficacy. Basically you chose an “emotional eating hypnosis” audio recording you like, then listen to it while relaxing with your eyes closed.

For this technique you
1. Choose an audio recording you like. You can download an mp3 from the net.
2. Listen to it 1-2 times a day for a week (practitioners recommend listen once for at least 30 days in a row).
3. Blog about it blog.


Audio to download

There are some free versions online but they do not seem to be very high quality, or specific to emotional eating. It is likely that you will need to buy one for $5-$15. I have not tried any but some places to start are.

Search for “emotional eating hypnosis” on google, itunes, and audible.com . You can preview the recoding on itunes and audible.com to see if you time the voice or music annoying.
