Dance!

So, doing TF has made me realise how much I miss dancing. I used to be a competitive dancer and dance teacher, did at least one dance class or rehearsal every day of the week, and learning the choreography and moving to the music in TF has brought all of my feelings about dance back to the surface! I love being a lawyer and doing the amazing work that I get to do, but I think I have completely lost a big part of myself over the last several years and it's just come to the forefront!

There's a dance class around the corner from my office on Wednesday evenings, with a new term starting on the 18 April. I really want to sign up for it, but I know that Wednesday is supposed to be my TF rest day. It's not a strenuous class, it's more fun really (street/hip hop and jazz improv) but I am totally committed to TF and I don't want to set myself up to burn myself out.

Those of you a bit further along, what do you think? That will be around week 10 of TF, would it be okay to add in the class on my rest day?

Also, just as an aside, I am amazed at how TF is changing my life. I feel like I can do anything I put my mind to! For a really long time I didn't go back to dance because I had put on weight, lost a lot of my flexibility and felt really self-conscious. Now I have the confidence to go for it! Can't say enough about how amazing it is!

Do it :) Just think of it like you were taking an art class...this is your passion and you will have so much fun! Besides, you can always take a different rest day if needed :)
