So I'm thinking of picking up a jump rope (or two) of my own to practice when I'm not at my box (and possibly to take with me to the box)...but I could use suggestions for quality jump ropes. Any and all input would be great!

BeckyRoosevelt suggested this on my profile http://www.roguefitness.com/ultra-speed-cable-jump-ropes.php (For tracking suggestions I'm adding it to here)
Thank you both for the suggestions!0 -

Why-ever would you need *two* jump ropes?0

To be able to have a spare that I can have (like stash one at home or in a gym bag, and keep another in the car)....or for jump roping with a friend.....or just going over board....0

Yep, I own three of the speed ropes, one at home, one in my backpack and one at the gym - Amazon - the ultra speed ropes - I recommend the plastic covered wire - lasts a little longer as it doesn't fray as much0

I have 2 ropes: An Again Faster Speed Rope that is a little longer for high volume wods where I may need to rely on losing form a bit (arms coming out), and an RX rope that is shorter for me to work on my wrist turnover.0

I have 1 speed rope - not sure which brand. I've been considering a second for my home WOD's...0

A Buddy Lee which I never use anymore, an Again Faster which is good, but my favorite is the Rx jump rope.0

I can see why you'd like Rx Jump Ropes...they look quality (and a bit expensive). Wish they allowed swapping things out so as you progress it wouldn't be buying a new rope each time.
Edit: Looked through the site and realized that is doable...maybe I'll get a cheap one and a Rx Jump rope....0
