Today's Dr. Oz was about ED...

I just turned it on (last 5 minutes) so I have no idea what he said, but I may watch it On Demand later. I don't know if it will help or not. I do know that he had three girls on there who he wanted to go to IP treatment, and so far, only 2 of the 3 have agreed to go. One thought she wasn't sick enough because she's still overweight (but is restricting a ton) but she changed her mind and decided to go. One says she is fully invested in her treatment at home, has regained some weight and doesn't think she needs IP. She is the one refusing to go. The third - the one who agreed to go right away, is by far the thinnest and the one whose appearance makes me afraid for her.

I only saw the last few minutes too. I wish I would have known it was about ed's or I would have watched!

I watched the whole thing. I wasnt real impressed. They were talking about the pro ana website. Personally I would go on that web site. It isnt all bad there is a recovery section and it gives people a safe place to talk. Kind of like here. The problem being it also encourages people to have ED. But one thing there are many girls on there that i talked with and ended up changing their mind..so it isnt all bad, but I know everyone wont see that. The guy who does the web site actually has one of my testimonials up. So it was mostly about that. Hell I will take that girls place if she wont go. But I am not that lucky. Have to go to the same place..my insurence will only let me go to one hospital and obviously after being hospitalized to many times to count anymore it isnt working! Tyhe one girl had a feeding tube, but she wasnt even putting calories down that. I cant get my drs to do that either. Although who knws I would prob end up doing the same thing as her eventually. But I do like dr. Oz

Thanks for the review. It sounds like it wasn't all that helpful, which is a bummer, but not totally unexpected.
