Men, feelings on women with short hair?

I noticed that when I had long hair I got noticed more by men. I have worn it short for a long while and I loved it, but I am trying to grow it out. Do men get turned off by short hair, even if it is really nicely fixed?

Short answer: yes men are turned off by short hair.
Long answer: depends on what is below the hair.
Kinda similar to men with long hair for comparison... (women are turned off, but depends on what's below).0 -
My short hair is much more popular than when I had my long hair. But this style suits my face soo much better I get told all the time that I look like a 1930 pin up0

It depends on the facial structure some women look better with longer hair and some can rock short hair.0

Do you like it? Do you smile more? Are you more confident? If you answered yes to two or more of these, then we love it!0

If it is cut really short so as appears masculine then it is a turn off but I would not say a deal breaker.
Personally I like longer hair on a lady.0 -
I generally prefer longer hair, but sometimes short hair can work. Longer hair seems more feminine to me.
Hair isn't the only determining factor.0 -
From the girl's perspective, I looked awful with long hair, I wanted to be all feminine and have those long flowing waves, but it was honestly very unflattering. I think I look much better, cuter, with short hair! And yes, it gives me more confidence and makes me smile more. I think it's about how you feel and if any hair cut is actually flattering.0

I feel so much better when it is short. My favorite way is stacked up the back, and tempered to a long point in the front, and a little spikey on the top back part. My mom used to tell me I looked like a peacock. I have a very physical job, and long hair makes me burn up. I promised myself if I lost at least 30 lbs I could go back to my old hair cut, right now my face is too fat. I am more inclined to doll up and fix my hair and wear make up than when I have long hair. I am miserable at the moment, it is at the toughest length possible right now. It seems like it isn't growing, and it is too short to pull up and it is soooo hard to fix. Anyway. I just wanted to know if it would be a mistake to cut it off when I lose my weight or not. But I kinda answered my own question by saying how much I love my hair short and sassy. I kinda figured that guys were turned off by short hair but I have been single a long time and if a guy is seriously going to turn me down because I don't have long hair, he wouldn't like me in the first place even if I had long hair.0

When I had my pixie hair cut, I was paranoid about looking too masculine. I would wear headbands, clips and long earings all the time. I do get more attention from men with my longer hair.0 -
I love short to long. It's all how the girl wears it. What I really don't like is super long hair. I'm talking so long that it goes past your butt long.0

99% of the guys I've ever dated liked long hair.
About 4-5 years ago I did the Victoria Beckham angled bob and LOVED it. I felt sooo sassy. I got many compliments on it. I wore it like that for about 2 years.
Then I started itching for long hair again and have been growing it out since. Now it's perfectly long where I can curl it or what not.
Short hair makes me feel sassy.
Long hair makes me feel super sexy and like a vixen.0 -
I come from a culture where women have long hair. I mean, we have many women who's hair are literally dragging down the floor. So obviously, I find long hair more attractive. For me, very very few girls can pull off short hair. But then again, its all about the girl and how you do it to be honest. Most girls wearing short hair (like in a bun or something) isnt very sexy to me either but some can pull it off (Jennifer Connoly as an example)0
