There have been many scientific studies that have shown an assortment of detrimental health effects directly linked to milk and dairy consumption. Its been proved that milk depletes the calcium in our bones, increases fracture risk, and is now processed. A great milk substitute is unsweetened almond milk, not only because it is alkalizing (as almonds are), but also because it’s delicious and tastes very similar to milk. You can even cook with it! You could also try rice or soy milk. Educate yourself on the negative effects of milk!
