Hiya

I don't really understand this , I got a message saying I had lost more than 5kg and I should reset my goals ,
so I selected the same options . Previously my goal calories were 1680 after resetting they are now 1750, why
am I allowed more calories now ? I thought it should be less as I weigh less. The way I understand it my BMR
should be lower so my goal calories should be BMR - 1000 calorie deficit to lose 2lb per week (I'm losing way more for now)

The only thing I can think of is because you now have less to lose?

I'd say it was because you need to reduce the calorie deficit as you get closer to your goal, it helps you and your body to adjust to things so that you don't reach your goal and then suddenly start eating your BMR which you said is 1000 cals more than at the mo - that would be a bit of a shock to your body.

It slowly reduces your allowed calories to keep your deficit healthy. i reset every time i lose(to avoid sudden downward lurches in calorie allocations)
