I actually have a pop and rock mix.
I'll give a couple from my pop mix:
Natalia Kills " Nothing lasts forever"
Breathe Carolina "Blackout"
Alexandra Stan "Mr. Saxobeat
I'm always looking for new music.......

I usually stick to my techno, it helps motivate me! :-) I have been listening to bagpipes too! That's fun!0
-
Ludacris is motivating:blushing: ...makes me want to move0
-
Breathe Carolina is pretty good, love the song "Sweat it Out".
I have a bit of everything from Rammstein to Pitbull. LOL
My "go to" bands recently have been The Presets, Imperative Reaction, Sick Puppies and AC/DC0 -
Blondie, Amy Winehouse, Snap!, Estelle... just to name a few

Listening to bagpipes by choice? Are you on crack? I can't think of anything worse!
I have a very varied music taste, I just about everything on my ipod except techno and reggae (and bagpipes). When I work out I either listen to dance tunes, or 90's pop music, or hip hop.0 -
Albannach is a GREAT pipe and drum band to work out to! i'm a bagpipe lover too. also, Hadrian's Wall, but they're a little silly.
Kane - b/c i adore him and his music.
techno mixes for cardio. but when i'm lifting, i listen to EVERYTHING.0 -
Godsmack, Five Finger Death Punch, Disturbed, Eminem, Adele, Jem, and a few others...I haven't changed it in so long I have to add a few new ones...0

Lord, I'm getting old. I don't know half of the people mentioned. I love Adele and she's probably my favorite singer, but not great to work out to. Probably Queen, Def Leppard, AC/DC are more my go to bands for torture sessions.0

I use Adele for my cool down0 -
Mix of old and new. I love Driveby by Train, Fine by Me by Andy Grammer and Stand Behind the Music by Anjulie. The dancing motor in my butt turns on when I hear those and I put little dance moves in my workout . (Yes, the neighbours do talk about me when they see me doing the boogy down the street.)
But I also have on there 99 Red Balloons, It's Raining Men and Goodbye to you.
For cool down I like Hallelujah by Alexandra Burke and Whiter Shade of Pale by Annie Lennox.0 -
wow...I actually just created one while I was in the gym Monday...Tpain's - booty work is what kept me into my workout!!! I need lots of fast/upbeat songs0

I change it around a lot but my running playlist at the moment includes:
OutKast, The Wellington International Ukelele Orchestra, Arcade Fire, Tune-Yards, Ina unt Ina and Rihanna0 -
Ok, I have time for a real reply now.... this is the sound of todays work out...
Basement Jaxx - Good luck
Ohhh I love Basement Jaxx and this is one of their best. Plus I'm always singing in the car like in the video, except I dont' have a massive aff of course... but otherwise I look just like that bouncing around, banging on the steering wheel and singing my heart out, lol.

Fragma - You are alive
Club hit - fast beat get that heart rate up! I love this lyrics too "On your own, and though you feel alone, YOU ARE ALIVE!! Don't you know it's just another day?" I had no idea the video featured a bird going for a jog until I just youtubed it! Lol.

Sash featuring stunt - Raindrops (encore une fois)
I prefer the original actually, but hey my ipod was on shuffle.

Marina & the Diamonds - I am not a robot (clock opera remix)
I love everything this girl touches. Seems a shame that the only song of hers to make my workout playlist is an uncomissioned remix!

Gossip - Standing in the way of control.
Not the best clip of it, but it reminds me of seeing them live at the wireless festival in London. They play with so much evergy, I remember everybody was just sitting down chilling on the grass in the park, when the started playing this song everybody (including me) got up and ran towards the stage. Loads of energy.

Mansun - Wide open space (perfecto mix)
Not a fan of the genre, but keeps me moving in the gym.

Livin' Joy - Dreamer
90's classic! Still sounds great today, plus it reminds me of seeing her perform live at Trafalgar Square during London Pride in 2009, she was very heavily pregnant, but she totally rocked it! I danced with a dude dressed as Michael Jackson. Good times.

Special D - Come with me.
Again not my favourite genre, but keeps me going really well. If I'm having a tough workout I put this on, keeps me going an extra 3 minutes for sure.

Bodyrox ft Luciana - Yeah yeah
I love the disjointed sound, fast & furious. Something very urban British about it. Raw, dirty, hot. Turn it up.

Ultrabeat - Feelin' Fine
So many good memories attached to this song. I have been known to shead a tear on the cross trainer with this tune on.

Acutally I take that back, it's a freakin' awesome performance, it's just a shame she misses the first 2 notes, but that's live music hey, lol.0 -

Hahaha! I do the same when I am in the gym... or i just listen to iheart radio when I am running outside. Usually just pick a station... my mood changes from day to day. If I want a fast pace workout - i go with dance music... if I want a slower paced - I go with country. It works for me and the music constantly changes.0 -
I usually listen to Disney music! There is something about Mulan and the Lion King that gets myy heart pumping!! Ha!0
-
not working out, but if I were, Grace Jones's Demolition Man would be playing.0

I have a station on my Pandora I titled 'RoboBond', as the theme of my weight loss is to be smokin' hot like a James-Bond girl. It plays such music as Glitch Mob, Deadmau5, Kaskade, Daft Punk, Mord Fustange... Good rhythm, and since the music has a duel level of beat- you can use it for stretch, burn and cool down if you listen to the levels of patterns.

I have only about 15 songs on my "Exercise Music" playlist--- which I grew bored of, but am too lazy to actually add to. So recently, I've been watching stand up comedy on Netflix (been on a George Carlin kick recently)- It distracts me sufficiently to get through an hour or so on the elliptical. I do get some stares when I burst out laughing like a maniac... but hey... I don't know these people, let them think I'm crazy. :glasses:0
