Hello all!
Today is day one for trying paleo. I have been an intermittent faster for a short time and recently added coconut oil to my fasts for added comfort. Now today I am taking it a step further and going low carb, high fat. So far today I have been experiencing waves of euphoria and nausea. I'm reading Mark's Daily Apple to try to learn why this might be happening and there is just so much info on there! Just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar to this with the yucky tummy and feeling tired. And if so for how long? Thanks!

It's not a true fast if you are using coconut oil.
And then coconut oil when you are not use to it can be quite harsh, particularly if you are fasting.
Build up to the coconut oil, use it for cooking, and if using in a hot drink start off small ..a teaspoon and build up from that as your body get use to it.
It's day one for you? Carb flu kicking in early? Possible, but nausea may be due to the coconut oil.0
