I just worked out my numbers...thanks to heybales! Today is day 1.

I want to purchase a HRM but as I do a lot of work on a stationary rowing machine (that does now allow me to input my info nor does it give watts), I'd like some recommendations on the most accurate HRM for calories...ideally for stationary machines (not a GPS based HRM.)

Thank you!
Melody

The Polar model that allows entry of VO2max.

That way, according to the study, you can manually enter both numbers reflecting your true fitness, and be more accurate.

Hoping someone knows what the cheapest one is, I think the RS100.

Might have to wade through Polar's somewhat confusing site to find the model and stats as to what it allows changing.

In case anyone is wondering, the lowest model Polar that allows you to test your VO2Max and set that setting is the FT60.

    I'm getting mine on Friday!
