Mine tends to be induced by exercise but only because I'm being a bit rubbish with my clenil inhaler- It makes me cough unless I take it through a spacer, and I can't always find the spacer :ohwell:
I guess you're talking about a bad attack. Take your meds properly and use your peak flow to monitor, I guess?

    Hi

I have just in the process of being diagnosed with asthma for the first time at the age of 51.

I would be interested in how to manage my asthma before or during exercise. Is it best to use my inhaler beforehand, just in case I have an attack, or wait for it to happen, as I may not have an attack anyway?

Since it all started last November when I was off work with severe stress and caught a bad cold on top of that, I have put on over a stone and need to get the extra weight off as I think it is making things worse, and I was already far too heavy before that.

    Any advice is appreciated.
