What are your recommendations for workout gear? What items can't you live without??? Sports Bras that hold the girls on Lockdown without Jiggle? Yoga pants that make your butt look the cutest but also are comfy and stay on and UP for your workout? Sneakers that make you feel like you are walking on air??

This is the place to post your faves!! Please include links when possible.

    sports bras :

Enell : http://enell.com/ The best I've found for high impact activities.
Pros: very comfortable to wear. straps are nice and big. the fabric is breathable these are a bit pricey BUT they will last you several months as long as you take care of them. I wash mine normal in the washing machine, but you can NOT dry them in the dryer. air dry instead

Cons : the sizing isn't like normal bras, so you buy a size within a range. this can be a problem if overall you fit within a range but your rib cage or cup size are not technically in that range. the vest structure takes some getting used to, but it's not too bad.

Goddess : http://www.barenecessities.com/goddess-medium-control-soft-cup-sports-bra-5056_product.htm?pf_id=Goddess5056&search= The worst i've ever used. This was even marketed as being for high impact activities. the problem is that the straps are on the thin side. i didnt even think about this until after i finished my run. the straps had dug into my skin to the point where skin got broke. taking a shower afterwards was torture! i was so pissed that i wrote a complaint to the company and to the store that sold me the bra (as they were the ones who recommended it) i ended up getting free stuff. i now only use these bras on my low impact days.

once again i cant highlight enough to NOT wear this bra on a high impact day!!

    Lunaire : Honorable mention. http://www.barenecessities.com/product.aspx?pfid=Lunaire11111&source=gbase&cm_mmc=GLBS-_-Bra-_-Lunaire11111-_-NA&term=Lunaire11111 &mr:trackingCode=208BA90D-E3B2-E011-87D9-001B21A69EB8&mr:referralID=NA

This one really surprised me because of the price. bare necessities always has good sales too, so i bought this on a fluke because it was only $20. this is actually a pretty good high impact bra! plus you can avoid the vest situation that the enell gives. i alternate this and the enell on my run and sprint days because they are each a bit different. the enell is a bit hotter than this one, so i wear the lunaire on days when i know i'm going to already be sweating buckets

    yoga pants ...
i hate i'm going to share this because these are my absolute favorite pants. i have about 5 of them and i wear them just about everyday. i also have a pair in a little larger size so i can wear to and from the gym over my actual workout pants.

also these are surprisingly excellent quality for old navy. usually you wash their stuff a few times and POOF a hole in 3 spots. these are well made.
i dont really work out in these because they dont have good moisture wicking.

for workout pants i also like these from old navy http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=53935&vid=1&pid=810761
these have great moisture wicking. also pretty well made for the price. i got a bunch of these at a store when they were on sale and i'm glad i did.
the one bad thing is that they dont have a waist band tie, so as you lose weight and try and stretch out their use, you might find yourself having to pull up the waist area.

FUNNY!!! I have to agree with you Meshasha on a few things!

    Enell sports bra
This bra REALLY does hold down the girls!!! I'm a 44DDD and so I need some SERIOUS support. I have to admit that I bought this bra a size smaller than what was recommended just b/c I was buying online and I didn't quite trust it. It is TIGHT!!! But I don't mind it at all. It DOES give me the "Uniboob" but again...I don't mind it. I'll do anything to keep Laverne and Shirley in check!! It is kind of pricey but to me-- well worth the money.

    Old Navy Compression Pants: http://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?pid=865679&locale=en_US&kwid=1&sem=false&sdReferer=

I JUST bought these pants and I LOVE THEM!!!! I have jogged, played tennis and done Yoga in these pants and they are super comfortable. I THINK the wick away moisture but don't quote me on that. They feel a little tight or like you may have gotten the wrong size when you put them on, but I guess that's the "compression" part. They feel really supportive and they make your bum look HOT!!! I was a little worried b/c some people on the site in the review section said that the waist band rolled down...I haven't had that problem but it MAY depend on how you are built. I carry my weight in the lower half of my body (pear) so I don't have that much of a tummy...not sure if the others do, but Im just trying to figure out what it could be...cuz they fit nicely and dont roll at all. The ONLY complaint that I wish they were an inch or so longer. I'm 5'10 so that may just be my tall *kitten* problem. LOL

    Junonia Swimwear: http://www.junonia.com/QuikEnergy-High-Performance-Spa-Suit.html

So, I love all of Junonia's stuff really. They make REALLY HIGH QUALITY items. My fave section tho is there swimwear section. The material is thick and supportive and lasts a long time. you WILL have to come out the pocket though!!! They are NOT cheap. But I was doing triathlons and really NEEDED some good gear. I ended up buying a swimsuit similar to the one in the link above (they don't sell my suit anymore SADLY) and it fit sssooooo nicely! AND it held the girls UP! Which is RARE for a swimsuit. I also but a pair of capri swim pants. Again, I carry my weight in the lower half of my body and my thighs are nothing nice to look at...especially from the back. So I needed something to help me feel comfortable in public, in a bathing suit. Those little shorts that you see everywhere weren't covering up a DAMN thing! I got these capris and feel confident and athletic. I just put them on first and then put my one piece suit over them and you have a little triathlete outfit!

for workout swinwear, i use this https://www.swimoutlet.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=26843&CartID=

cheap and perfect for getting eaten up by chlorine in the pool and the whirlpool.

the fit is nice. also this site has frequent sales, so the last time i bought a swimsuit here the price was $29.

Hi Ladies! thanks for the tip about Old Navy! I live in Canada and they don't have the plus size section that you lucky girls in the States have! I have already scoped out a couple things to buy! :)
